Penner International Celebrates Remarkable Milestone: 100 Years of Excellence and Success

To mark this momentous occasion, Penner hosted an outdoor celebration on Thursday, June 8 at their headquarters in Steinbach, Manitoba. The event brought together esteemed industry leaders, the local business community, key stakeholders, government officials, customers, suppliers, and dedicated employees who have contributed to the company’s success over the years. The event was filled with
nostalgia, celebration, and gratitude as attendees reflected on the company’s rich history and its remarkable journey of growth and accomplishment. As part of the festivities, The Manitoba Historical Society presented Penner International with a Centennial
Award commemorating its journey from humble beginnings to becoming an industry leader.

During the event, Allan Penner, grandson of the company’s founder P.K. Penner, delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude to everyone who played a part in the company’s success story. Mr. Penner remarked, “Reaching this significant milestone is a testament to the resilience, dedication, and collaborative spirit of our incredible team, past and present. We owe our success to our loyal customers,
supportive partners, the communities in which we operate and most importantly the employees and drivers that have been with us through our remarkable journey. This celebration is a testament to their trust and dedication to Penner International.”

General Manager, Tom Van Dam added “As we reflect on our past achievements and look to the future, we are inspired by the legacy of our founders and the dedication of our employees, partners, and customers. We look forward to the next century with optimism and excitement!” In 2020, Quebec based C.A.T. North America purchased Penner International and during the celebration, C.A.T.’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Goyette announced that Penner International will be moving from their current location at the corner of Highway 12 to Northgate Drive. Goyette notes “We value the significance of Penner within the community, and we are pleased to
announce our investment in this new location within Steinbach as we look forward to the next 100 years of delivering promises.”
