Trade Accelerator Program (WTC Winnipeg)

Canada’s Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) is an innovative and dynamic program aimed at helping Manitoba’s small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) overcome barriers to exporting. The WTC Winnipeg is pleased to offer TAP in Manitoba, a program that has rapidly gaining momentum across Canada, and a reputation of achieving real results, fast. Through its Expert partners, TAP gives companies access to top exporting advisors, resources and contacts. Companies are given the opportunity to work with industry leaders to build a comprehensive Export Plan, and then begin its implementation.

North Forge Technology Exchange

North Forge Technology Exchange is an innovation-based economic development agency and a powerhouse community to fuel Manitoba’s innovation economy providing entrepreneurs with award-winning mentors, rockstar subject matter experts and a four-stage startup program. Armed with Canada’s largest non-profit fabrication lab, they operate out of 27,000 square feet across Innovation Drive and Innovation Alley in Winnipeg, Canada.

Futurpreneur Canada

Futurpreneur Canada has been fueling the entrepreneurial passions of Canada’s young enterprise for two decades. We are the only national, non-profit organization that provides financing, mentoring and support tools to aspiring business owners aged 18-39. Our internationally recognized mentoring program hand matches young entrepreneurs with a business expert from a network of more than 3,000 volunteer mentors.

Export Development Canada

Export Development Canada has been Canada’s export credit agency since 1944. Our job is to support and develop Canada’s export trade by helping Canadian companies respond to international business opportunities. We are a self-financing Crown corporation that operates at arm’s length from the government.

Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)

World Trade Centre Winnipeg

The World Trade Centre Winnipeg (WTC Winnipeg) is a bilingual private sector-led organisation and the leading trade organization for the Province of Manitoba. The WTC Winnipeg caters to the business community by acting as an information portal for Manitoba entrepreneurs. Equipped with access to extensive market research databases and privileged access to global leaders through its memberships with the Canada Business Network and the World Trade Centers Association, the WTC Winnipeg is a key resource for those seeking comprehensive information, research and connections. They also identify ways of simplifying the import/export process for their clients’ products in the right markets with the right partners. The WTC Winnipeg’s core objective is to work with Manitoba companies in gaining the confidence, training, tools and network of contacts essential to compete locally, nationally and internationally.
